Veterinary Surgical Centers Rehabilitation (VSCR), a progressive, multi-location small animal physical rehabilitation practice in Northern Virginia, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join its growing Physical Rehabilitation team. This is a full-time position in our Vienna location.

*MUST have at least 1 year of veterinary or hands-on pet care experience to be considered.*

-MUST have AT LEAST 1 year of experience in a veterinary and/or hands-on pet care
-The successful candidate must possess strong communication skills written and verbal, excellent organizational and problem solving skills, be detailed oriented, self-motivated, and able to work both as part of team and independently.
-Duties to include restraining patients, assisting with rehabilitation therapies, scheduling appointments, helping clients, filling prescriptions, light cleaning, equipment maintenance and other tasks as needed.
-Must be able to help lift large dogs (100+ pounds). This is a physically demanding role, with the majority of the day spent on your feet and supporting/lifting patients.
-Schedule will include four 10-hour shifts each week, with Saturdays required.
