Okanagan Veterinary Hospital in Kelowna, BC is seeking a full time Associate Veterinarian to join our 4-doctor team. We are a well-established progressive practice with a stellar reputation throughout our community. We are looking for excellence and place great value on finding our next teammate. We strive to provide the highest quality of services possible, including: a variety of soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, ultrasonography, dental care, reproduction, endoscopy and exotic animal medicine. We have recently invested in an equipment upgrade to better support our rapidly growing demand for reproductive care. We are a paper-lite (AVIMark) practice serving a robust and diverse caseload, including referrals from other clinics, and we are looking to grow and provide an even wider range of services. We refer after hours emergencies to a local ER clinic.
We are well-equipped with the following:
Abaxis, IDEXX, in-house lab suite, and in house cytology
Well-equipped for orthopedic procedures (offer TTA, TPLO and fracture repair)
Reproductive services (artificial insemination including: trans cervical, semen collection, freezing and storage)
Digital x-ray and digital dental x-ray
Well-equipped surgery with ventilators, capnography monitors, pulse oximeters, ECG, BP monitoring
Rigid video endoscopy
