East Valley Veterinary Clinic of Salt Lake City, UT is a full service companion dog & cat animal hospital which offers a well-established veterinary clinic providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care.

We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities and a closely supervised hospitalization area.

 Leadership & Identity - East Valley is seeking a leader to take the cultural elements of the practice and establish an internal brand and personality. You need to build a cohesive team that believes in the mission and values of the practice. You are responsible for establishing the modern identity of East Valley.

ER Responsibilities

• Examine animals to detect and determine the nature of diseases or injuries.
• Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, performing surgery, or other therapies while minimizing patient stress and discomfort. 
• Candidate must have the experience and confidence to handle a busy caseload while providing exceptional customer service and the highest level of medicine.
• Our emergency department veterinarians are responsible for outpatient case care, emergency case triage, and monitoring hospitalized ER and specialty patients overnight. This position requires a candidate to possess and exhibit maturity and a high level of integrity.
• Triage multiple patients at once, focus on client education, have the skills to perform emergency procedures and surgery, and be confident in interpretation of diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
