Country Road Veterinary Services is seeking a full-time or part-time veterinarian to add to our team. The practice is privately owned and is well established with over 40 years of service in the community. Our case load is concentrated in Wayne and Holmes counties although we work for clients in surrounding areas. We have a three-doctor team that serves dairy farms and also provides care to equine, beef, small ruminants, deer, and companion animals. A high concentration of farms in our area allows us to have a busy case load with great variety.
We emphasize bovine, equine, and canine reproductive medicine in the practice. Reproductive palpation and ultrasound skills are desirable. Each associate is provided with a fully stocked truck, Bowie unit, and an Ibex Lite ultrasound for bovine and equine reproductive work. Mentoring is continuously available until the new associate feels he/she is comfortable as a primary clinician.
The new associate will also be serving our companion animal clients. We have recently added an additional surgical room to our clinic to meet the increasing small animal needs. We have digital radiography, a TCI endoscope, and in-house progesterone testing. We also support individualized special interests. Veterinarians have opportunities to pursue knowledge and training in these areas and develop new skills.
Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply and to visit our practice. An Ohio Veterinary License or equivalent (active and clear) is required. Benefits include: competitive salary, emergency fee bonuses, two weeks paid vacation, profit sharing 401K, medical insurance, paid professional subscriptions and dues. If interested or if you have further questions, please contact Dr. Mark Imhoff by email at email@example.com
