Hutto Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full- or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team. Located 30 minutes northeast of Austin, Texas, we are an established and continually growing small animal practice focused on canine/feline medicine and surgery.
We believe in practicing the highest standard of medicine with exceptional customer service. We also strive to provide a relaxed work environment and encourage our veterinarians to consult with each other as needed. Our progressive veterinary clinic has up to date equipment including in-house IDEXX lab station, digital radiography (including dental), and Avimark software.
Qualified candidates must be proficient in client communication/education as well as general preventative care, medicine, dentistry, and surgical skills. Candidates should show compassion, attention to detail, and willingness to work with the team. Our doctors enjoy a four-day work week plus alternating Saturdays. After hours emergencies are referred to the local emergency clinic so no on-call hours are required. Experienced doctors and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
All full-time employees are eligible to receive a comprehensive benefits package including:
Competitive salary with signing bonus commensurate upon experience
Medical, dental, vision, life, short- and long-term disability insurance
401(k) plan with employer match
AVMA PLIT liability insurance
Paid time off
Continuing Education allowance
Reimbursement for state/DEA licensure and AVMA/VIN dues

About Hutto Veterinary Clinic
Blue River PetCare's mission is to provide a long-term home for local practices that selling owners have worked so hard to build. We are dedicated to retaining the culture of each of our hospitals in addition to the local practice of medicine. We do this by ensuring each hospital has complete medical autonomy with their choice of protocols, therapies, inventory items, vendors and even management software. We also focus on our employees’ health and well-being as much as we do the pets we treat. We would love to hear from you!
