Companion Animal Hospital is looking for a veterinarian to join our team!  Located on Mission Street in Westside Santa Cruz, Companion is a full-service animal hospital whose mission is to provide the highest standard of quality and compassion in veterinary care for pet patients, as well as provide informative and supportive services for clients.

We are a well-equipped hospital, allowing our doctors to provide excellent care utilizing our in-house laboratory, digital radiology (including dental), and cold laser therapy. Our ideal candidate would have a strong interest in dentistry and preventative care, as well as  strong communication skills.

Santa Cruz is known for its moderate climate, natural environment, coastline, and redwood forests.  The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is California's oldest amusement park and a designated State Historic Landmark.  Santa Cruz has 11 world-class surf breaks, including the point breaks over rock bottoms near Steamer Lane and Pleasure Point, which create some of the best surf in the world.  Other water sports are plentiful, including fishing, sailing, stand up paddle boarding, and paddling.  If you prefer to stay dry, there are many opportunities for hiking, camping, cycling and disk golf.  Art fairs, musical acts, and theater round out the Santa Cruz experience.
