We provide a range of veterinary services including wellness care, soft tissue surgeries, dentals, ultrasound, extensive in-house laboratory, digital radiography, laser therapy and behavioral counseling.  We are looking for a full or part/time associate.  We pay on an hourly basis so there isn't competition between doctors for high paying cases.  Scheduling is three appointments per hour with 30 minutes for sick appointments so you won't be bored, but you get a scheduled hour off for lunch to eat and do call-backs.  Dentals and surgeries are optional.  If you like to do them, great.  If you don't, you can do strictly appointments.   Salary is competitive and benefits include BC/BS health insurance, 120 hours paid time off yearly, paid liability insurance, AVMA/NePVMA memberships and Sep-IRA contributions.  There are two local emergency clinics available so there are no after hour duties.   Mentoring is expected.  Not going to just throw you into the fire. 

The practice is located just North of Scranton, Pennsylvania in a suburban area.  There are lots of outdoor activities available at state parks, ski areas and trails nearby.  It is a short drive to Philadelphia and New York City.  Its a great area to raise a family with the opportunity of long-term employment and potential for partnership or eventual ownership.
