The 110-acre Boone’s Cave Park sits adjacent to the river and offers miles of hiking trails, while further downstream the river flows into High Rock Lake. The lake, which covers 15,000 acres, is the second-largest lake in NC and is known for boating, paddle boarding, swimming and fishing, particularly largemouth bass fishing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build a rapport with clients
• Communicate with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, nutritional needs and preventative care
• Perform physical exams and diagnostic, surgical, medical, and dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care
• Stay current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine
• Maintain client-patient medical and surgical records
• Assist in the development of our team to ensure the highest quality of care and exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

• DVM/VMD degree
• Licensure in good standing
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to self-manage your time
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine
• Professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
• Commitment to ongoing educational growth

Because a large number of veterinarians practice at North Davidson Veterinary Hospital, we can care for many types of pets- (Not all veterinarians see exotics and farm animals)

We also have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care for our clients. Usually the emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life.
