Highly regarded AAHA five veterinarian small animal hospital in Fairbanks, Alaska seeking 6th DVM. New graduate or experienced veterinarian. We are a very collaborative group that shares cases and works well together. Three of our 5 veterinarians started here as new graduates and are still here after 18, 7, and 6 years! Commitment to safety and gold-standard care is our mission. Our owner, Dr. Krislyn DeLeon did an externship in Alaska and accepted a position here at Mt. McKinley after she graduated. And she bought the hospital in 2005! It’s been growing ever since. Her easy-going nature is a real plus with staff and clients alike.

If you like the outdoors, there are both summer and winter activities including hiking, fishing, ice hockey, dog sledding. We’re a short drive from Denali National Park. Northern Lights are amazing.

Compensation ($90-120K depending on experience), production, full medical including vision and dental, 4% 401K match, $5K for relocation expenses, continuing medical education stipend and time off, association memberships, paid time off.
