VCA Parkway Animal Hospital located in Tacoma, WA is seeking an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive team of fellow DVM's, LVT's & Vet Assistants.

VCA Parkway is an AAHA accredited general practice hospital equipped with ultrasound, digital radiology (including dental radiographs), third-party diagnostic support, and a national network of shared knowledge. Daily work includes a good mix of general practice, dental, and surgical cases, along with options to refer to multiple nearby specialty centers and/or emergency as needed.

Business hours are from 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and 8AM-3PM on Saturdays. No on-call or Sunday hours. No overnight shifts. A typical schedule for our veterinarians looks like 4 days per week with a rotating half day on Saturday.

VCA Parkway is located within close proximity to downtown Tacoma, JBLM Military Base, I-5, and Hwy 512, (about an hour away from downtown Seattle). If you enjoy sight-seeing, fine dining, shopping, festivals & shows, biking, boating, watersports, and other activities, Tacoma & Seattle have so much to offer!  And if you are seeking a more tranquil experience, head to one of the many hiking trails, museums, day spas, mountain resorts, or nature reserves nearby.
