Our practice is 50% cattle mostly dairy, 5% swine, and  45% pets.  This position can vary from 1/2 cattle and 1/2 pets to 2/3 cattle and 1/3 pets.  Interests in Swine, Beef, calves, and Embryo Transfer would be a plus.  Start mixed and grow your specialty until it is much of what you do!  We keep pace with our changing industries.   Dairy practice involves local family owned farms and large dairies further away.  Herd sizes range from 100 to 9000 cows.  We influence 30,000 cows.  We are actively involved in building design, cow comfort, vaccination programs,  ventilation, nutrition, reproduction and treatment of individual animals.   We perform milking system evaluations and in house milk cultures including myco.  Team meetings and peer groups are used to foster continuous
