Hartwood Animal Hospitalin Fredericksburg, VA is currently seeking an additional Associate Veterinarian to join our wonderful team! Hartwood was founded in 2006 by our Medical Director Dr. Helen Jewett and has been a staple in the community ever since. We are a full-service animal hospital and welcome both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. We see exotics including avian, rabbits, reptiles, pocket pets, pot-bellied pigs, chickens & ducks. Currently, we have three Veterinarians and a great support staff with many, many years of experience. Our staff is both supportive and efficient and love what they do! This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to work in a collaborative environment.

Fredericksburg is a great area to live and raise a family. We are located an hour south of Washington D.C. and an hour north of Richmond, VA. Downtown historic Fredericksburg is very enjoyable with a nightlife and many things to do. There are new communities going up in Stafford/Fredericksburg area. There are lots of areas for hiking, fishing, boating and other outdoor activities.
