Meadow View Veterinary Clinic (MVVC), located in Rochester, MN [home of the Mayo Clinic] is looking for one or two DVMs to add to our growing clinic. We welcome both experienced doctors and new graduates to apply. We are open to fulling a full-time or part-time role as we are prioritizing finding the best fit for our clinic and team.

We have a robust team that includes many experienced and talented CVTs, Assistants, and receptionists to support the addition of more doctors to our team. We believe that adequate staff is having approximately 2-3 CVTs per DVM with additional support from Assistants and Receptionists. Our goal is to maximize the efficiency of our DVMs by utilizing support staff effectively.

Our clinic ownership and leadership are committed to ensuring MVVC is a great place to work. The leaders work hard to ensure our team, including doctors, are supported and happy in a positive and team-oriented environment. Some of the things we do include:

• Fostering autonomy as veterinarians; we welcome and appreciate different styles and/or perspectives of practicing veterinary medicine.
• Mentoring of newer graduates. We have experienced DVMs on our team that enjoy teaching and are good at collaborating and/or supporting each other on new or harder cases.
• Encouraging and supporting professional growth and knowledge; it’s important that our DVM’s feel they can pursue their specific interests. We believe supporting passion/interests will lead to higher job satisfaction for our employees, more diversified clinic offerings, and ultimately better patient care. The clinic was started, and is still owned by, Dr. Garren Kelly. We have two sister clinics within a 20 min radius: Stewartville Animal Clinic and Byron Pet Clinic. Our ideal candidate will be interested in providing quality medical and surgical care to patients while delivering exceptional service to clients. We are looking for a DVM that can communicate effectively, has a desire to learn and grow, and is self-motivated. Our experienced DVMs are always willing to provide mentorship to anyone that wants it.

We feel strongly about supporting all our staff with a relatively flexible schedule that balances clinic needs with personal needs in a way that is fair for everyone. We offer very limited/minimal weekends and evening shifts, generally on a rotational basis. Our wages are competitive with industry and the local market, and we offer many great benefits.
