Idaho Equine Hospital welcomes veterinary students for externships lasting 1–4 weeks, with most students electing to participate for two weeks. Preference is given to third- and fourth-year veterinary students. On-site housing is provided. Externs gain hands-on exposure to a diverse equine caseload while working closely with our staff veterinarians during both regular hours and after-hours emergency coverage.
