Position Overview:

We are seeking to add an experienced associate veterinarian to join our exceptional team due to a former team member electing to not return from maternity leave.  Position can be part-time or full-time.

Practice Overview:

• Independent, family-owned, AAHA-accredited facility practicing Fear Free™/low stress handling.
• Caring colleagues with open minds and hearts.
• Up-to-date equipment including electronic medical records, digital x-ray with radiologist review, digital dental x-ray (all dental patients get full-mouth and post-extraction radiographs), in-house lab including inVUE (blood morphology, ear cytology) and PT/aPTT, Phovia™ light therapy unit, cold laser and more.

What’s in It for You:

• A rotating schedule of appointments and dedicated anesthetic procedure days. Primarily dentistry and soft tissue surgery (spay, neuter, mass removals, cystotomies, etc.). For orthopedic or specialty level soft tissue, we have mobile boarded surgeons come in.
• AM Saturday appointments no more than twice monthly (every 3^rd Saturday) and no emergency call
• Paid time off and generous Continuing Education support along with access to AAHA CE, Patterson Veterinary Academy and EdQuest via our hospital memberships with options for VIN access or VetGirl membership for additional CE
• Licensing fees covered as well as AVMA membership and PLIT
• 401K with 4% match
• Health Insurance that also includes vision and dental

What Work Looks Like:

• Being a dedicated doctor focused on patient evaluation and management and not having to be a veterinary technician in addition to your normal duties.
• Be supported by a leveraged, exceptional support staff - we are well staffed with veterinary assistants/techs for each appointment doctor and RVTs/highly trained veterinary assistants for anesthetic procedure days.
• Build and maintain client relationships – we have excellent client demographics
• Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small animal cases
• Perform small animal dental and surgical procedures
• Collaborate with mobile surgical, cardiology and internal medicine specialists
• Maintain a positive and low drama supportive work environment

• Graduate of an accredited veterinary program
• Current licensure in Colorado
• Three years or more experience including general soft tissue surgery and dentistry
• Accreditation to complete international health certificates appreciated but not required
• Fear Free or Low Stress Handling certification appreciated but not required to start. Must be willing to become certified if not.
